Olathe Campus Music Director- Part-Time /Full-Time
The Olathe Campus Music Director works with the Worship Pastor, staff and volunteers to provide expertise and support in all things related to the coordination of worship services so that they may fulfill their core functions in the ministry. Responsible for Music Directing worship every weekend at the Olathe Campus and overseeing the Olathe Campus Worship Team.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
LifeMission Church Worship Department
- Administrate all budgets and finance management related to the Worship and Prayer Department, under the guidance of the Worship Pastor
- Responsible for paying contract laborers, stipend, or any other invoice we should receive. Keeping file and record of all such expenditures//payments

- Managing the Worship Department credit card

- Managing monthly budgets alongside Worship Pastor to ensure proper procedure and spending
- Coordinating with Connections Coordinator to manage volunteer requirements within our database
- Includes managing team designations within Rock (database) for required teams
- Weekly Olathe Ministries Meeting (all coordinators for each department)
- Administrative duties as needed under the direction of Worship Pastor
- Inter-department communication with involved ministries
- Other duties as assigned
Olathe Campus Worship Team
Weekly
- Music Direct each weekend (as needed) as a primary part of your role, unless time off is requested and approved by Worship Pastor
- Hospitality for Olathe Weekend Worship Team - including purchasing//restocking
- Work in coordination with the AVL Department, Production Technician to ensure the platform is prepped for weekends
- Spend time as able with (male) team members in order to love and care for our team
- Coordinate with staff//volunteer worship leaders to arrange setlists for each weekend
- Keep PCO updated with current and accurate song information to best equip our weekend teams
Monthly
- Coordinate all Olathe Campus weekend service worship teams in conjunction with Worship Pastor
o Make amendments to teams as needed
Quarterly
- Assist Worship Pastor in coordination for worship team meetings throughout the year
- Lead in vision for cultivating community within the Olathe Campus Worship Team
GO Prayer Worship Team
General
- Trained in all GO Prayer serve team positions
- Fills in for any serve team member position when needed, ie: prayer leader, worship leader, singer, musician, CG, cameras, audio
- Assists in filling service oversight role when the Director is not scheduled. This includes showing up early to get the Barn set up and ready for the team, leading briefing & debriefing meetings, and making sure the Barn is closed properly at the end of the night.
- Assists in planning, communication, & execution of quarterly GO Prayer Team Nights
- Assists in planning and execution of 21 Days of Prayer, January 1-21 of every year
- Coordinate Worship auditions and onboarding administration (as needed) in conjunction with Worship Pastor//GO Prayer Director
- Serve GO Prayer director with other duties as needed, within reasonable limits of the job description as assigned
Weekly
- Serve on GO Prayer Worship or Prayer team each Tuesday night as a part of primary part of your role
- Role determined as needed each week
- Hospitality for GO Prayer Worship Team - including purchasing//restocking

- Assists in monitoring Planning Center schedule for possible open positions needing filled
- Keep PCO updated with current and accurate song information to best equip our weekend teams
Monthly
- Coordinate and schedule all Go Prayer worship teams in conjunction with GO Prayer Director
- Make amendments to teams as needed

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
In 2002 LifeMission Church was born as a Bible study in Pastor Clint and Mary’s Olathe home. Over the years, Jesus has been lifted high, lives have been eternally changed, and our community has experienced the love of Christ.
